Your First Visit

What can I expect on my first visit?

Although it shouldn't be, sometimes visiting a church can be extremely stressful. What to wear? What time to arrive? Where should I go? Where should I sit? What about my kids?!...
Sounds stressful just thinking about it. At New Testament Baptist Church we'll do our best to make you feel at home. We value friendly, encouraging fellowship, God honoring music, and most of all, The Word of God. We begin services with adult and children's Sunday School at 10:00 am with our worship service at 11:00 am.

What should I wear?

Although New Testment Baptist Church does not have a dress code, most of our members dress in traditional Sunday dress (Suits and Dresses).

What about my kids?

We have a highly trained staff in our nursery for toddlers and young babies, as well as Sunday School classes for ages 2 through adult.

Am I expected to give an offering?

No, we don't invite you here so that you can give an offering. We would rather you be able to feel a welcoming, friendly spirit and family atmosphere. As well as be encouraged by the music and preaching of God's Word.

Are there church services at other times?

Yes, apart from Sunday School (10:00am) and the morning worship service (11:00am), we have a Sunday evening service at 6:00pm and a Wednesday evening service and prayer meeting at 7:00pm.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

We would always encourage you to bring a Bible regardless of what church your are visiting. It is always good to compare what is being preached, with what the Bible says. As a Bible believing New Testament Church, we do not use any doctrine other than the King James Bible. We do have plenty of extras so if you don't have one and you wish to follow along, you are able to.
